The following organizations offer programming and support for military, veteran, and first responder families.

At Healing Household 6, we know firsthand about the struggles caregivers face on a daily basis. Where do you turn to for help? What organizations can assist your family during a crisis? We understand even a phone call for assistance can be overwhelming with all the information that you are asked to repeat. When you are learning to navigate the VA system or a medical evaluation board, it becomes mentally and physically exhausting. Yet, it doesn’t have to be. From injury to transition, our peer support networks will guide you through the process of making the most of the adventures that lie ahead. Our peer support network consist of experienced caregivers and family advocates that can provide reputable resources and assist you through hardships. Together we have conquered medical evaluation boards, VA claims, transition, public assistance, nonprofit assistance, domestic violence and caring for our own wounded veterans. Although Caregiver life can feel lonely, you are not alone. Explore our website to find a variety of programs and information that we provide Caregivers of all era’s!

The key to developing strong military spouses depends on the ability to link spouses to the information and support they need to adjust to a military lifestyle.  While benefits and resources are available, there is still a lack of experience and inability to access an installation prior to arrival at the first duty station that stifles spouses’ ability to learn.  This illustrates the need for a system of mentors to bridge the gap between new military spouses and information. Our New Military Spouse Support Program serves as a resource for spouses to gain knowledge and thrive on their new journey.

The Green Beret Foundation serves the Army’s Special Forces, our nation’s most elite soldiers. We believe Green Berets are our nation’s greatest assets. Every day, we honor our commitment to Green Berets past and present, as well as their families, by connecting them with the right resources to prosper and thrive. Because when these soldiers meet powerful opportunities, our nation’s most elite soldiers become our nation’s best leaders.

Founded in 2009 by military spouses with you in mind, we empower military families to thrive by connecting them with their civilian neighbors – both people and organizations – to create strong communities of support.

We’re committed to honoring the American soldiers who gave their final sacrifice, to supporting their families, and to empowering the Veterans and families who continue to fight. Through awareness initiatives and empowering support programs, we’re committed to making noise for those who serve. And it’s all in honor of Michael H. Simpson, the loudest Green Beret we ever knew.

CONNECT: MSBHC seeks to connect military spouses with their peers in order to gain and give support and to share knowledge and best practices with each other.

ACHIEVE: Our goal is to help to ease all of the educational, employment and licensure hurdles that military spouses face as they navigate through military life while in pursuit of a career in the mental health profession. We hope to accomplish this by providing them with access to all of the necessary resources and support they need at every stage

IMPACT: A mental health crisis exists within the military and greater civilian community. The rate of suicide and other psychological health concerns have skyrocketed, especially within our military community after over 16 continuous years of war. MSBHC seeks to help provide access to a culturally competent behavioral health workforce that stands ready and willing to help tackle the mental health crisis within our military community and beyond.

Over the last 30 years, we have combined our experience in mental health, education, and group facilitation to work with adults, children, couples, families, groups, and businesses/organizations. Through this work we are confident in our ability to effectively facilitate and support our clients towards a happier and healthier way of being. With the assistance of our 4-legged co-therapists, we will nurture your ability to relate and heal together.
