Muriah’s father served in the Navy on active duty as a Logistics Specialist (LSCS) for twenty-eight years. In 2012 Muriah married her husband, David, whom is currently on his fourteenth year of active duty service as a Master at Arms (MA).
Muriah completed her graduate degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling (MS) from Capella University. She completed her practicum and internship in community mental health doing Therapeutic Day Treatment, Intensive In-Home Counseling, outpatient therapy and served as a supervisor/ clinical director of an Intensive In-Home Program. Muriah is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Texas and Virginia, as well as a Nationally Board-Certified Counselor (NBCC).
